Two people had a relationship, now they meet 15 years on. Ray has made a new life for himself, with a new identity, thinking he couldn't be found. Una has thought of nothing else, and on finding a photo of Ray, sets out to find him with shattering consequences. Blackbird, written by David Harrower and directed by Peter Stein, was commissioned by the Edinburgh International Festival where it received its world premiere earlier last year. Award-winning actors Roger Allam and Jodhi May will recreate their roles as Ray and Una. AVW are delighted to be working with Production Manager Patrick Molony again, providing the stage automation for Blackbird. |
