on from Thoroughly Modern Millie and Batboy:
The Musical, AVW find themselves back in the
Shaftesbury Theatre for yet another major theatre
production. This time it's MM Kaye's mighty epic The
Far Pavilions. Working
with production manager Patrick Molony and alongside
Delstar Engineering and Clearwater Scenery, AVW are providing the stage
automation for a triple concentric revolve,
counterweight assist flying and motorised tracks using
their award winning Impressario motion control
system. |

loyalty and forbidden love takes you on the ultimate
theatrical journey… into the human heart.
The Far
Pavilions, is the new £4 million musical based on the
novel by M. M. Kaye, which will have its World Premiere in
London at the Shaftesbury Theatre on Thursday 14 April 2005,
following previews from 24 March.
The Far
Pavilions, which will have a 50-strong company, has book
and lyrics by Olivier Award-winning Stephen Clark and music
by Philip Henderson. The show will be designed by Olivier
Award-winning Lez Brotherston, with costume design by
Andreanne Neofitou, lighting by Peter Mumford and sound
design by Rick Clarke. With orchestrations by John Cameron
and musical supervision by David White, the Indian music
associate will be Kuljit Bhamra and the choreography will be
by Piali Ray.
The Far
Pavilions will be directed by the Emmy Award-winning
international director Gale Edwards.
