The Sage Gateshead is an innovative blend of
concert halls, a music school, a base for resident
music organisations and a regional music information
service, all under one roof.
It has been designed by internationally acclaimed architects Foster and Partners. More than just a concert hall, it is actually seven buildings in one, designed from the inside out and then clothed by a spectacular curved roof. The total project cost is £62 million, three quarters from the Arts Council of England with National Lottery funds. |
| AVW have been sub-contracted by Street CraneXpress Ltd to provide the control systems for 26No Acoustic Curtains and 10No Chain Hoists for the Main Hall, 6No Banner Hoists for Hall 2 and 5No Acoustic curtains for the Rehearsal room. | |
